The purpose of our company is not to solely focus on the people that can easily pay for water, but our goal is to focus on the people that really need the water. \u00a0With this in mind, our entire utility system would be transformed. \u00a0For example in California, many water districts use a system of billing called tiered billing. \u00a0This billing system inherently harms the poor and the middle class, because it says that if you use a little too much water you can be bumped up into another tier of water billing. \u00a0These tiers can in some cases, have over a 100% difference in cost of water. \u00a0Thus with this system, the poor people that can\u2019t afford to pay double triple or even quadruple what their water usually cost end up not having an option but to pay this prejudicial and discriminatory fine. \u00a0With Globally Refreshing, you will never have to pay an unfair or illegitimate payment.<\/span><\/p>\n
