This is probably the most controversial chemical in our water. Fluoride is put into our water to reduce tooth decay. (Note: Globally Refreshing has yet to take a position on the use of fluoride.) The controversy comes in because there has been some evidence that shows that fluoride damages your brain and generally hurts your physical condition, but because of your teeth it is still in the water. The full effects of fluoride in our water system are still hotly debated. We would strongly recommend that you do some research for yourself on the effects of fluoride in the water system.Here is some Fluoride info by the EPA. Remember it is produced by the government and they are the propionates of using fluoride so you won’t get the entire story, but it is a good starting place for research.
